Yes, we all survived. Tanner, Emilee and I were rather sad that the "big" girls were gone, but we had so much fun playing Operation, Princess and the Pauper, taking a walk, playing trucks and reading stories. Ooooh, I miss those "big" girls. Emi was so sad that her sisters were gone and Tanner kept walking around calling for them. The girls did great! I asked them to rank the day on a scale from 1 to 10. Savannah gave it an instant 9. (They got on the wrong bus after school, but the nice bus driver brought them home and they got here about a minute after the correct bus, just a little stress..wheew!) Natalie gave it a 4, and then after morning recess it became a 5, after lunch a 6, after lunch recess a 7, after afternoon recess it became a 9, and then when they got off the bus it was a flying 10! Wheww....and I gave you the condensed version if you would like to call she can give you the minute to minute breakdown which could take in the upwards of 45 minutes+. What a chatty difference between a 7 year old and a 9 year old. They have great teachers and have made great friends. We knew they would, but as a mom my stomach has been in knots all day just counting down until they walked thru that front door! I am so glad they are home, but even more relieved that they loved their day! Matt had planned on driving them in the morning, but Savannah informed us that she wants to ride the bus in the morning! Okay, so they grow up way to fast.

I loved hearing about their first day of school! I'm so glad they are enjoying it. They are so outgoing and cute that there was no way that they would not fit in. Beautiful house, I hope to make it over there soon!
How exciting for them! Do they get to walk, or bus?
