Wow...as I look at my previous blog date I realize it has been a loooooong time! For this cause, I will try to get back on task! lol!

We were here in Medford for Christmas! We had a wonderful time as a family! It was different not having snow and family around, but we enjoyed out own new family traditions and had a wonderful Christmas season. Having children brings such a true happiness and excitement to the Christmas season. We loved reading Christmas stories nightly, gift giving to friends, baking, "the yummy smells of the Christmas" and discussing the true meaning to the Christmas Season.

We have been blessed to have both my parents and Matt's parents here in January and my mom back again in February. We love having visits from family and there is nothing better than grandma and grandpa. We took a great trip to the coast with my parents...(I will post pictures later) We had a wonderful time. We took the girls to the Sea Lion's and they loved it! It was a very windy weekend with windy advisories in effect, but that didn't stop them from playing in the sand and in the water. We spent our last night in Bandon...I love this little town! We hope to get back there sooner than later...Matt would love to golf at the golf course, I would love to walk thru the downtown shops more, and the girls would love to play in the ocean/beach! I love being so close to the ocean. It is so relaxing and beautiful!

Emilee's health has been a bit of whirlwind...Emilee is a very incredible little girl and she has been wonderful throughout it all. It has now been two weeks since they removed the larger hemangioma from her right finger and a few smaller ones. The stitches have fallen out and she is begging to get to do gymnastics again....we are hoping that if things continue to heal if and if she keeps feeling better she can do this soon! Her labs that came back had great results! Which is wonderful...however, the lab did not complete two of the tests that blood was drawn for..and now she needs to have blood redrawn to do those tests. At this point we are going to hold off! Her stomach is feeling better, she is not currently having as many "miserable" moments as she was before so we are going to wait a bit. Blood draws while awake are too draining on all of us! We are just thrilled to hopefully not have to go back to Portland for a bit-that drive is getting very old...

So that is our update until now...
Things are going good! Savannah is loving school and doing fantastic! She is blossoming like crazy! I can't believe she will be turning 12 this year, WILD! She has wonderful friends that she loves and enjoys spending time with. This week was wild...she had two friends call on Monday..two separate play dates, friend Tuesday, friend Wednesday, Thursday I had to put the stops on the phone call....time to get some work done...I am just so happy that she is so happy and that she has made some wonderful friend this year that she loves spending time with!
Savannah is incredible on the piano! She loves playing and we all love listening! Savannah is our peacemaker and a huge help to her mom!

Natalie and I are having a great time with home-school! I genuinely love having her at home with me! I love our time together. She is so much fun to be with and it is so great to have the opportunity to be with her when she "really understands" something...when that light bulb goes on. She has advanced sooooo much and she is such a great sport about it...most of the time. When she starts to complain I just tell her that I can send her back to school and her response is always "but mom I am learning so much"....and she gets back in line! I love this time we have together! She has a fun energetic personality and is a true doll!

Emilee is loving her teacher! Mrs. Robino is amazing! We feel so blessed to have her this year. She is so loving, kind and supportive! I can not even imagine a better teacher for Emilee this year. Emilee has had to learn how to write with her left hand. Her right hand has been so bandaged at times and then sore from surgeries so she decided to start writing with her left. She has had to focus really hard, but her penmanship is looking soooo good! She loves reading her AR books and gets so excited about the "new things" she gets to read! We spend a lot of time practicing her reading, telling time, numbers etc.. She too has a great group of friends that she loves!

Tanner is my constant companion and he is a ball! He is still just a little dream. Genuinely just a good good little guy. He loves to help me empty the dishwasher, load it, wash windows...you name it anything to help and he loves to snuggle and read stories. Play dough is his current fav. He can sit, stand etc.. and play with play dough for 2-3 hours while Nat and I work on our projects. He loves playing in the backyard on his four-wheeler, jumping on the tramp, playing at the park, taking walks and going to the library. He loves cars and trucks books and likes writing his name..(he thinks he is writing it...we are still working on that..hehe) He has a very creative imagination...the ideas and activities that he can come up with never stop amazing me! He is a joy!

So that's it for now! Life is great!

Oh, wow, I didn't know you were schooling at home! Join the club. Is it hard for you to organize your life to fit it all in? For me, I am struggling to accomplish all things.
