Wow! We made it home and we are gradually getting back in the groove of things. My parents both flew home today. My dad left this morning- we took him to the airport at 9:30am and then my mom at noon. (My mom booked her ticket first, not knowing for sure my dad's schedule; therefore, they couldn't get on the same flights) Emilee got teary on the way to the airport saying that she wanted to go back to her other home with grandpa and she didn't want him to leave. We discussed the fact that he and grandma will be leaving Thursday and will be gone for 9 days on a trip with friends. That seemed to subdue her for a bit....until we started driving home then the tears came again... saying she missed grandpa too much and it wasn't fair he had to live in Pocatello. (oh' the mind of a child) By the time we got home she was good and then it was time to take grandma to the airport. Needless to say it was a rough morning. The tears continued on the way home from the airport the 2nd time after dropping grandma off. Already missing grandma too much. She kept saying it will be too sad at home without them there. Luckily, she had a playdate at 2pm and it has been okay since. However, it was brought up again tonight. So mom and dad when you read this it might be time to get some tickets booked for your next visit. How does October sound? Happy Birthday to me and mom?!

The kids did so great this past week with grandma and grandpa here. Tanner was grandpa's little shadow the entire time. He has been moody all afternoon. He kept walking around calling for grandpa and grandma going to the front door, holding up his hands and saying "where at." They loved having grandma and grandpa here. Matt and I are so thankful to them for coming. My mom did a bunch of peaches for me with Savannah's help which is more then appreciated. They are so delicious. The fruit here is too die for! My mom bought me some canning supplies so my goal for next week is to do pears. Yum! Thanks mom!

So Roadshow practice tonight went great. I really could not have been more pleased! There is nothing like throwing a new person into the ward...bring on the road show. Thanks for all of the ideas and helps the last few weeks. Our theme "So you think you can Dance" is a hit. The girls have a great dance put together, the young men are rockin' and the leaders ......I will keep everyone updated next week. The elders will be dancing to "Eye of a Tiger", Sisters to "Dancing Queen...I can't wait, primary is doing some Riverdancing, and the youth are just PERFECT! They are getting into it and doing so well. Stay tuned. I will put video feed on when we are done! PLUS, Matt will be dancing to Eye of a Tiger....it will be awesome! Thanks honey!
