Fun with Friends!

The girls keep begging to make Halloween cookies and crafts. So today that is what we did. Now you will notice that the frosting all ended up various shades of blue, yellow, and green...somehow in the move we lost our red food coloring and with 3 extra kiddos I wasn't about to go the the grocery store to buy more. A great time was had by all...including myself. The girls are at such a fun age. They just make me laugh! However, I wasn't laughing when they were done and there was cookie dough everywhere.....the floor was a mess. Tanner had nothing to do with the mess I assure you. Emilee and Addie decided it would be fun to make the sugar cookie playdough and they had a great time with it for about an hour and a half. I sent them all outside to play afterwards so I could clean up and mop the floor....yes, girls as you read this you should be telling yourselves that you have the coolest mom ever!!!!!! However, within about 30 minutes of the "girls playdate" ending I too was able to head out for a "mom's night" with friends. It was so refreshing and enjoyable as well. I enjoy this time as much or more then my girls and there is a much smaller mess to clean up afterwards and the laughter is so refreshing and healthy...! We are so blessed to have made so many great friends.
