So I can hardly believe that it has been almost three weeks. I feel somewhat settled and I am getting more established every day. We have curtain hungs, walls decorated, parking both (yes, both) cars in the garage. I can actually get around town and even home without having to always use the GPS. However, for Savannah's piece of mind (and mine...sometime's) we still use it sometimes just for the shear fact that we know we will get home.
It has been so great to chat with so many of you. My girls are loving emails from friends and the phone calls. Natalie commented the other day that she missed Melody more then any of her friends. (Which doesn't surprise any of us.) My first tears honestly came a week or so ago when I was chatting with Kim and Sophie wanted to talk. When I told her good bye I heard her say "more, Jen." Okay so I love that little girl to death! (I wonder if Kim would noticed if I took her for a few weeks) I can understand to some extent my little Emilee's feelings. She told me that she feels like she left a sister in Pocatello. Yes, her and Lauren really were like sisters...in more ways then one, plus the fact that in the last couple of years since toddler time there have been very days when they were not together. I miss that little Sophie the same way. The chats with Lauren and Steph have helped Emilee a ton. She is still the one verbalizing her feelings the most and she definetly misses her friends. I asked her what I could do to make it better and she said," tell them to move here or can we move back?" So....I can not do a move again soooooo I am thinking you should all just move here. There is a beautiful home just across the street and over a couple houses that is 2300 sq feet and only $550,000....what do you think....just petty cash. Right!
