Well my mom left today. It was so great to have her here. The girls were so good when she left...I wondered how long it would last. They called grandpa as soon as we dropped her off. (they were concerned he would forget to pick her up at the airport) The tears started before we got too far. Luckily, we now have a count down chart...only 32 days tell she comes back and 34 for grandpa! Yeah. That and I know we will talk to them both multiple times daily! Thanks for coming mom! We sure loved you being here and for the fun activity books and puzzles! We miss you tons already!
I went to a book group tonight. The book for the month was "The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas. So I haven't read the book, but I saw the movie a few years back. It seemed like a great chance to meet more people and to have a change of pace. I am glad that I went. I had a great time visiting with new friends. Next month we are reading Sarah, by Orson Scott Card. I am going to add this to my list of books to read....I need to plan an outing to the library. Thanks to my new friends for the invites, goodies, and playdates for my kids!
